Rafters in a scene

The roof beams are set off by chandeliers and red-painted surfaces, giving the room a strong visual scene. Combined with indoor plants, the space gains a natural summer atmosphere.

In 2015, this house was selected by the Royal Institute of British Architects as one of 23 impressive new homes in Britain and was considered for the Manser Medal. The award is given annually to an outstanding new house designed by an architect.
