This small home was designed by Canadian designer Brendan Kwinter-Schwartz for Kerry Dempsey, a marketer who is accustomed to hotel rooms. She does not like clutter and prefers clean lines and a classic look. These features are visible throughout the small Manhattan apartment.
Bright colors in the small and elegant apartment

Ten years ago, Kerry bought the 200 m2 apartment in a listed building in Greenwich Village. The building had been renovated in the 19th century, with large windows and double-height ceilings, but the apartment itself needed help. Therefore, she entrusted Brendan with the renovation and decoration. The designer is responsible for Kwinter & Co. in New York and is known for luxurious rooms that feel glamorous, fresh and modern.
Multifunctional furniture in the small apartment

Even small spaces can express beautiful style. White feels classic, modern and fresh, lightly accented with colorful decorative pillows and blankets. The result is modern, light and airy.

To use the maximum space, the furniture generally has two functions. This is an important aspect of a small room. The Parsons chairs with white covers transform from lounge chairs into chairs at the dining table.

The coffee table can simply be lifted and folded out to become a large dining table. The large mirror leaning against the wall reflects light and gives an impression of more space. Since the room is in the attic, the ceilings are not very high, but the bright yellow wall color creates a cheerful effect.

There is always room for a small bar
