"Lake House 2" is a modern house on the lake – a project of McClellan Architects, based in Seattle. It has an elevator, a roof grassy plain, and a spacious terrace overlooking the water. The house is situated on a steep bank, so access to the machine is limited to the edge of the property. The customer wanted a location exposed steel structure and a landscape that fully assumes the seafront to complete.

The house has an open floor plan and represents a harmony between interior and exterior spaces give. It 'easy to reach from the living room to the kitchen and enjoy the beautiful nature of any place outside. The floor-to-ceiling windows let in light and sun to enter and offers a beautiful view of the water. The dynamic tension between man and nature is omnipresent. The rhythmic structure of the building mass is divided and view repeatedly stacked beams and steel columns.
Modern Lake House
The work of artisans and materials such as stone, plaster and steel are essential to the natural feeling of home. A steel staircase with shoe inspired details will be provided against a wall of Venetian plaster. Powerful built-in LED lights illuminate the wall in the evening and see how the gold leaf. An elevator was installed discreetly in the rear of the house and makes the garage, the house of the mother and residential floors easily accessible. The garage is equipped with solar panels for the electric car to the customer. The floor apartment has access to another terrace on the flat green roof and enjoy the same great view.
