This minimalist wooden house was designed by Architectural Studio Rossetti + Wyss Architects and is located in Halden God, Switzerland, on Lake Zurich. The project was directed by Claudio Sticca. The house was completed in 2015 and measures 320 square meters. Its extremely simple appearance conveys both elegance and minimalism. The setting gives the house a strong advantage, with the natural landscape becoming an essential part of the experience.
A Wooden House Where Modern Architecture Meets Classic Elegance

The house was built entirely of wood in a minimalist architectural style. The timber-clad facade adds rustic warmth in contrast to the crisp geometric lines. The straight lines and restrained design create a quiet elegance that sits naturally within the green landscape. The scenery was not neglected: large windows frame broad panoramic views.

Wooden house with minimalist interior design

The wooden house is minimalist inside as well as outside. The interior is simple and elegant, with wood used throughout as one of the main materials. Beige and gray form the core color palette. Superfluous details and decorative elements have been omitted, yet the designers managed to make the minimalist interior feel warm and comfortable.
