The latest project by Claudia Pelizzari Interior Design is Brunati Sushi Restaurant, born in Salò, in the heart of Lake Garda.
The authenticity of the ancient portals and the brightness of the stained-glass windows are essential elements of this Japanese restaurant. The rooms were designed to enhance the breadth of the vaulted ceilings dating back to the 19th century.
The reception entrance has a natural-brass tower. It defines two vintage turquoise satin armchairs and a waiting area. The walls are covered with patterned wallpaper.
Through an arched opening, you enter a small room characterized by a large window overlooking the courtyard. The tables have veined black laminate tops edged with brass. The chairs are upholstered and covered in sand-colored suede.
The room is lit by four gold wall lights that brighten the space and add warmth to the atmosphere.
The bar counter creates a strong visual effect, with retro wood covered in blue glass, a screen-printed logo and a central brass plate. A strip of light in the lower part of the front enhances the design.
In the background, a large backlit cabinet rises, with black layers, industrial glass and base doors.
For dinner in a more intimate environment, two guest rooms are separated from the main room by black-painted wooden partitions. In one reserved area there is a sofa covered in gray velvet. The choice of placing a large rectangular mirror directly above it gives the room greater fullness.
The whole room is illuminated by oval LED fixtures and minimal points of light that fall over the tables, each time echoing a Japanese style.
