For centuries, wooden posts used in the construction of the Venetian lagoon have been sealed with resin. Inspired by this material history, Alcarol created modern tables from old briccola boards. The wood was taken from the port of Venice, then thoroughly cleaned, disinfected, and treated. The separate pieces were combined with resin, produced with modern technology so that it looks like glass and has the pale blue tone of Venetian water. The legs are made of metal. This table design is inspired above all by its choice of materials. The maritime look fits perfectly in a Mediterranean dining room, but purist and minimalist interiors can also benefit from the project. The table is extremely durable and can even be used in the garden during summer.
