A Relaxing Chair With A Large Shade
The anglerfish has an unusual body and lives at depths where there is little or no light. Its glowing lure does not illuminate the way, but attracts prey. The Light Up chair uses a similar idea in a playful design context, turning light into the defining feature of the seat.

For the Dutch designers at Ontwerpers, ergonomics remains central. The large shade makes the seat appear low at first glance, but it is designed to be comfortable. With dimensions of 120 x 155 x 210 cm, the chair can become a strong sculptural presence indoors, and the material also allows it to be placed in the garden.
An Exotic Furniture Piece With Special Charm
Ontwerpers constantly experiments with materials to achieve new qualities. The chair was built entirely by hand, using fiber-reinforced synthetic resin over a reinforced structure. The gently curved lamp extends organically from the back, glowing like a solitary deep-sea lure in the dark.
