Series of lights in modern design offers a distinctive style
The floor and pendant versions of the "Overnight" lamp are more than simple light fixtures; they are sculptural pieces for interiors with an expressive sense of style. The collection of designer lamps was created for Vessel Gallery Editions. Copper strips are used as the framework for the glass, a traditional technique, but Odd Matter developed a new folding method to create the patterns that define the copper structure. The frame is strong and stable, and the plates fit the shape of the frame without welding or soldering.

Odd Matter is a design studio focused on exploring forms, materials and technologies as the basis for innovative concepts. The studio often works with unusual materials to create objects with a distinctive look and feel. The designer duo, Dutch Els Woldhek and Bulgarian Georgi Manassiev, live and work in London. They met while studying for a master’s degree in product design at the Royal College of Art.
