This modern luxury kitchen juxtaposes colors and materials to create striking contrasts. The Holan kitchen was created by IOstudio as part of a large area that also serves as dining room and living room. The project consists of a separate kitchen island, a Corian cabinet system and a kitchen framed in natural stone. It uses the full 7.6-meter length of the wall. Port Laurent marble covers the fronts of all cabinets and drawers, including the refrigerator door. With this solution, the designers created a compact block with an artistic look shaped by the distinctive color of the natural stone.

The kitchen island has a special organic form. The design feels dynamic, fresh and even slightly futuristic, enhanced by the fact that part of the island appears to hover above the floor. This design required high-quality craftsmanship and advanced production technology. The island is 4.3 meters long, 0.96 meters wide and 0.9 meters high. It is built from Corian using thermoforming technology, with an internal structure designed from aluminum profiles. The work surface is made from the same Port Laurent marble as the kitchen.
Modern luxury kitchen with a slightly futuristic look
This particular customer contacted the design studio when construction of the living space was nearing completion and asked for a series of elements and furniture pieces that would match the existing configuration. The family also owned a large amount of old furniture and accessories with historical value, which they wanted to incorporate into the new home. The task was especially interesting for designer Stilvon of IOStudio, who wanted the different elements of the house to blend harmoniously.
