The interior design of the Tamers cabin is defined almost entirely by wood. This charming building by EM2 Architects is conceived as a wooden retreat with a strong connection to its surroundings.
Interior design – geometric lines and wood elements

The cottage is located in San Vigilio, Italy. One of the walls can open completely, revealing the surroundings and a breathtaking view of the mountains. The limited number of windows provides a measure of protection and privacy, while the interior design includes a few long, narrow windows and one large opening that brings in natural light during the day when the timber wall is not fully open. The hunting lodge is surrounded by a forest of tall, majestic trees that are home to a variety of wildlife. While spending time there, the owners can listen to the sounds of nature.
Interior design ideas with carefully chosen accents

The interior design is largely shaped by wood. Walls, floors and ceilings are covered with wooden boards, creating a cohesive and warm atmosphere. The furniture design is also strongly influenced by the natural beauty of this material. Wood becomes an ideal choice for a retreat where the outside world and the building flow into one another, uniting people and nature. To keep the wood from feeling overwhelming, the designers added carefully chosen accents. Beautiful rugs, pillows, sofa upholstery and a collection of ceramic figurines all bring variety into the house. In the living room, a modern fireplace adds warmth and comfort. The cabin has two bedrooms.
