A well-known software company in San Francisco urgently needed a fresh, modern look for its office: a place that would appeal to clients and make the staff feel comfortable. The office interior created during the renovation far exceeded their expectations. It is a modern, bold project in which concrete and wood play the leading roles.
Eclectic office interior in the heart of San Francisco

The San Francisco software company Giant Pixel commissioned the design studio O Plus to create a modern office interior for its downtown office. The area is known for its period architecture. With one of the city’s best restaurants and one of its most famous cafes nearby, the interior also had to look impressive. The architect’s challenge was to make the available space useful while also highlighting the company’s activity. The choice of materials, concrete and wood, serves as the connecting element inside. The raw beauty of the concrete walls contrasts with the rustic wooden beams. The combination of concrete and wood creates the perfect setting for glossy materials and decorative accents.
Office interior inspired by a combination of rustic and industrial styles

The eclectic office interior succeeds through an elegant combination of different styles. A laser-cut metal room divider defines two areas: the reception hall and the office space. The reception desk is a custom order and was cast in concrete. A cozy bar with leather furniture offers the opportunity to talk with customers in an informal atmosphere. The office space is divided into two parts: a conference room with a fireplace and an open area where people can share their experiences.
