La Réserve Ramatuelle sits on a quiet hillside overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. This design hotel is conceived as a discreet wellness retreat, set just minutes from Saint-Tropez yet removed from the noise and pace of the coast.
Design hotel as a wellness retreat

The hotel, villas & spa are integrated into the surrounding landscape. The original project documentation lists 7 rooms, 16 suites, and 12 villas for rent. Each room is spacious and has a balcony, terrace, or private garden with a remarkable view. A lounge, bar, and Mediterranean restaurant complete the hotel experience, while private-chef services can be arranged for villa stays and special occasions.
Design hotel overlooking the Mediterranean

In the south of France, sunlight, hills, and the Mediterranean define the setting. Rather than compete with Provence’s landscape, architect and interior designer Jean-Michel Wilmotte renovated and extended the 1970s building so it would sit quietly in its surroundings. Natural materials and a restrained palette of ochre, white, and sand reinforce that connection. Interior designer Rémi Tessier followed a similarly calm approach for the private villas, emphasizing open spaces, sea air, and Mediterranean light. Together, the hotel, spa, and villas create a fresh, restorative retreat shaped by the surrounding landscape.
