Feng Shui – table inspired by a national park in Korea
What do you need to create a design with Feng Shui? Pure colors, clean lines, order and a few carefully selected pieces of furniture. A Feng Shui-inspired lifestyle should look relaxed. The table is the focal point of the interior, and this piece will certainly attract attention. It was designed by Nothing Design Group and inspired by a national park in Korea. The designers built a table-sculpture that reflects the landscape, mountains and valley. Mt Mudueung Park had recently marked an anniversary, and as part of the celebration many designers from across the country were asked to reveal the beauty of nature in their projects. The result is fascinating and appropriate for a Feng Shui-style living room.
Feng Shui furniture – tea table
The next project – a tea table by Jeonghwa Seo and Hanna Chung – is a perfect complement to a Feng Shui design in which the designers wanted to reflect the movement of water. The surface of the table resembles a sheet of water: when a cup of tea is placed on it, gentle ripples appear. The innovative design was inspired by relationships among people in Asia and the belief that even small changes in one life can affect the entire community. The furniture was designed as a symbol of connection between people and created as part of a young designer’s thesis.
