CasasNaAreia Bungalow Resort is located in Alentejo, Portugal, near the beach and the Sado Estuary. The thatched houses offer an alternative to a conventional tourist hotel: comfortable, summery and easy to love at first sight.
Bungalow resort built on sand

The small resort is made up of four bungalows arranged around shared living and outdoor areas, with a swimming pool and barefoot-friendly spaces that add to the romance. Rest and relaxation are in the air.
Cottage overlooking the River Sado

The romantic CasasNaAreia holiday village is located in the Sado Estuary Natural Reserve near Comporta. New construction is restricted in protected areas, but renovating existing homes is permitted. In the past, the land belonged to fishermen and rice farmers. Their houses were built in a traditional style with thatched roofs, so they fit perfectly into the landscape. The living area’s well-compacted sand floor surprises foreign guests, though locals do not see it as especially unusual.
Whitewashed bungalows with thatched roof

Surrounded by rice fields and pristine sand dunes, the Bungalow Resort at CasasNaAreia interprets local ways of living in a contemporary form. Minimalist architectural elements are used skillfully inside the buildings, and only local materials were used for the conversion.
Beach villas with pool

In the quiet bird sanctuary, you can watch beautiful sunsets and admire salt marshes, flamingos and dolphins. The beach is about 3 km from the resort, and bicycles are available to rent for quick trips.
Comfortable Beach Bungalows

The bungalow complex is suitable for weekends and private events in nature. Here you can enjoy beautiful scenery and restorative peace: an idyllic retreat closely connected with the natural surroundings.
