Casa San Sen is a wooden house in Valle de Bravo, Mexico, surrounded by forest. It was designed by architect Alejandro Sanchez Garcia. The house follows the shape of the landscape and gains stability from being built on stilts, with a flat roof completing the design.
Wooden house in Valle de Bravo encourages physical and mental relaxation

Surrounded by lush forest, the wooden house fits naturally into the landscape. It covers an area of 860 square meters and includes a comfortable living room, three bedrooms, a kitchen and a wooden terrace with loungers. Built in 2008, the family residence is open and generous, while the wood-paneled facade makes it stand out.
Wooden house with glass front

The wooden facade reinforces the connection with nature. The mix of metal, wood and glass creates a comfortable modern atmosphere. The wooden house is designed with transparency in mind: the sides are extensively glazed, and the terraces extend the interior in several directions.
Echoes of the Bauhaus concept

Flat ceilings and glass give each room a strong visual connection to the landscape. Inside, Alejandro Sanchez Garcia Arquitectos plays with height, width, space and light, blending comfort and relaxation in the heart of nature.
