Thanks to the new technology of collaborative cooking, you can prepare dinner from the office. Christian Isberg, Petter Johansson Kukacka Lasse Korsgaard and Carl Berglöf are behind the exciting project for a cooking machine. The machine is controlled by a digital platform so everyone can participate in the kitchen, whether they are at home or in the office. This innovative technological solution promotes cooperation between different people and offers the possibility for multiple users to share the same platform. That is where the concept of online cooking comes in.
Online cooking – too many cooks certainly do not spoil the broth
The idea of an "online kitchen" is very original. To show the machine's possibilities, the designers decided to organize a unique cooking program with five participants, each at a computer, preparing one shared pot. More than 35 different functions help the cooks, and the machine has a user-friendly interface that is easy to use. Participants can mix ingredients, add spices, stir, fry, bake and much more, all in real time. All the five people need is an internet connection, and they are ready to discuss and exchange ideas. The experience takes place in two stages: in the first, the cooking is done; in the second, the food is tasted, the results are reviewed and everything is put online.

The team hopes not only for a successful experiment, but also for a lasting change. Could this new technology replace restaurants? Or maybe, in ten years, this machine will be installed in every home so professionals can prepare dinner during their lunch break.
