Rajiv Saini & Associates recently renovated a house in Knightsbridge, London, England. The modern house renovation includes improvements throughout the home. The main feature is a glass floor installed at street level, allowing natural light to flood into the basement.

The goal of this project was to open up the basement, improve the conditions in the room and create a cozy atmosphere. The architects expanded the cellar, excavated the courtyard at street level and fitted the dining room floor above the basement with glass. In this way, the cellar is naturally illuminated by daylight. A fascinating highlight is the green wall with a vertical garden, which makes the interior feel more lively.

A glass roof at the top of the house also allows the stairs to be naturally well lit. The terrace includes comfortable seating and an outdoor dining area. Inside, warm wood tones and neutral colors visually brighten the atmosphere of the house.
