The Tree Museum covers an area of 75,000 square meters near a lake in Rapperswil-Jona. Landscape expert Enzo Enea showed his talent and passion for nature by designing the project himself. The different species are presented with taste; only selected trees that thrive in Zurich's climate were chosen. The open-air museum has a large collection of more than 2,000 trees, some of which are over 100 years old. The trees are framed by a sandstone wall, creating a peaceful atmosphere. Enea collected the trees over 17 years. Their age recalls different perspectives on time and reminds visitors how important it is to protect nature for our children. You are sure to enjoy spending a day in the park.
