Modern art installation – a mini world from plant remains
American artist Gregory Euclide has built a modern art installation from plant residues. He wanted to show his love for nature. Inspired by trees and plants in a nearby park, the artist emphasizes the role of green spaces in cities. The beauty of the landscape first appears in a painting, which is then connected creatively to the installation. A river of paper seems to flow out of the painted landscape, boulders are made from river stones, and a forest is built from branches and grass. Plastic bottles, foam and other items found in the park also become part of the work.

The work suggests that the idea of controlling nature is false and destructive. Gregory Euclide is a well-known artist in the United States. His miniature worlds have been exhibited in several museums, and his work has appeared in numerous architecture and design journals. Bon Iver also chose an image by Euclide for a Grammy-winning album cover.
