This chair, called the Odu Rocker, was designed by Flo Florian and Sascha Akkermann of Confused-Direction. It impresses with comfort, relaxation and a form that changes function. The piece has no fixed front or back, so it is difficult to place against a wall; it looks better in the middle of the room or anywhere it can be seen from all sides. The name "Odu" is Hungarian and means "cavity," which fits the generous seating area and the overall appearance of the chair. The chair surrounds you, creating a feeling of warmth and security, while the gentle rocking movement encourages deep relaxation.
Lounger is made with quality materials
The basic structure is designed for lasting comfort. As you adjust your body on the furniture, its center of gravity changes. Sit toward the edge and Odu becomes a high chair. Lean back and it becomes a recliner. Move farther back and it turns into a comfortable bed. The edge of the chair is made from a carbon-fiber and epoxy-resin laminate, while the interior is covered in soft, skin-friendly microfiber. The bed is available in 20 different color variations.
