How To Make The Stepping Stones
Start by drawing the outline of each leaf on the ground where the path will be. Carve each mold about 7.5 cm deep into the soil, then add a 3 cm layer of gravel and a 1.5 cm layer of coarse sand. Prepare the concrete by adding water slowly until the mixture has a thick, peanut-butter-like consistency.
Fill each prepared hole evenly with concrete and shape the edges by hand. Press a rhubarb leaf into the concrete with the veined side facing down so the texture is imprinted clearly, then lift the leaf away. Adjust or reinforce the shape if needed, cover each stepping stone with a bag, and let it dry for a week.
