This modern apartment was designed by Studio 1408 and is located in Bucharest, Romania. The original layout no longer fit the residents’ needs, so the spatial plan and interior design were reworked over time. The result is pleasantly minimalist and functional, without unnecessary elements.
Modern and Spacious Apartment With an Open Plan
Originally, the apartment included a large living room with an open kitchen, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and an office. The redesign made the home feel much more spacious. The living room with open kitchen and terrace remained central, while a large storage unit in the hall now separates the corridor from the living area. The new layout includes one bedroom with a large walk-in wardrobe, terrace access, and a modern en-suite bathroom.
Modern Apartment in a Minimalist Style With Industrial Touches
The modern apartment is decorated in a minimalist style with industrial elements. Comfortable seating in atmospheric colors gives the interior more warmth, while wood flooring creates a natural base throughout the home. Concrete walls and rusted details in the bathroom add an industrial note. The apartment is a good example of how different materials and styles can be combined successfully.
