The unique design and individual style of Italian architect and designer Fabio Novembre’s chair are easy to recognize. The attractive rocking chairs "56h" and "36h" were designed in 2012 by Novembre for the Italian furniture manufacturer Driade. Both models have a contemporary look and offer simple comfort.
Chair Design with an Exclusive Look
"36h" is reminiscent of a throne, yet still impresses with its simple design and slightly curved edges. "56h" is an armless chair with an innovative design that looks striking while remaining comfortable. The two chairs have aluminum frames covered with plastic weave. The weather-resistant and extremely durable material ensures a long service life. Both models can be used as outdoor furniture on terraces or in the garden, and versions are available in different colors.

Born in Lecce in 1966, Fabio Novembre is certainly known as a provocative figure in the field of design. With his eccentric chair designs, he made a name for himself. Naked bodies or body parts often appear in his work. The "Him & Her" chair, introduced in 2009 and made of molded polyethylene, recalls sculpture and generated controversy. In his project "Be Your Own Messiah," Novembre was photographed as Jesus and reportedly ran into trouble with the Catholic Church.

The designer seeks to build bridges between what is conceivable and what is possible. After completing his architecture studies in Milan in 1992, he moved to New York and Hong Kong and created his first design work. He later designed interior objects, hotels, shops, bars, lobbies, restaurants, and showrooms. From 2000 to 2004, Novembre was creative director for Bisazza. He has also worked for Casamania, Cappellini, and Driade. He began specializing in furniture design in 2001. Today, his studio is in Milan.
