Space Plates greenhouse glass is a project designed by Anne Romme and artists N55 for South Bristol Skills Academy. The stable, durable hexagonal structure is based on the geometry of the sea urchin. It is versatile and offers ideal conditions not only for plant growth, but also for informal education.

The Globe (Hedron) is an innovative glass greenhouse for the urban landscape. The forward-looking project for urban farming is an impressive installation equipped with an irrigation system, allowing exotic plants, vegetables and fish to be cultivated on a roof.
Striking steel-and-glass structure for exotic houseplants
This modern glass greenhouse was designed by Buehrer Wuest Architekten and built in a botanical garden in Switzerland. It impresses with futuristic forms inspired by nature. Switzerland is not exactly a tropical oasis, yet this protected glass-and-steel structure accommodates several tropical plant species, including bananas and papayas. Under the glass, diffused light creates a suitable climate for growing plants. A design like this also places high demands on the structure.
Glass greenhouse made from recycled windshields
The author of this project is Sébastien Ramirez. His interesting glasshouse clearly illustrates how everyday objects can be reused or recycled. The glass panels provide excellent thermal insulation.
