The Italian designers Federico and Danilo Bergese focused their creativity on the idea to be innovative and to re-define the design of an object, through the use of: the bed. From this thought they realized in collaboration with the society of the jellyfish, specialising in light sculptures and crafts Andromeda, the hugging bed. To identify the creation of the designers: "Andromeda" was an encounter, the idea of a group that hugs like a mother, the dreams of those who remain on the bed."
Presented at the Fuori Salone 2013 (i.e., Temporary Museum for new Design in Milan) and with the signature of the brand Phloem, the bed Andromeda was integrated into every element in the hands of the craftsman, all made in Italy, the wood used from the company's Piedmont at the control of the company and the jellyfish and the glass inserts. This bed has a structure with sinuous forms still in the tradition enshrined: the combination of the curve, wood and glass makes the object of course, while the discreet led light, elegantly inserted in a stalactite cave made of glass covered the wooden structure, similar to that of the arc, upside down, against the bed. The bed Andromeda, increases the elegance and the functionality of the object: the structure is integrated with the grace of the elements of which it consists first, made of wood and glass.
