We present a project in the Philippines: a house by Atelier Sacha Cotture made of exotic wood and stone, located in a residential area in Parañaque City. The neighborhood has many green spaces between the buildings, offering the chance to enjoy a more rural atmosphere in the middle of the big city.
Wooden house – bamboo as cladding

The wooden house has a typical minimalist design. The villa is composed as a compact volume with 250 square meters of living space and opens onto the garden. A high concrete wall protects the front garden from view. The building has three floors: the ground floor is completely finished in stone, while the first and second floors are clad in bamboo. Bamboo is increasingly used in minimalist construction projects in Asia as a sustainable and affordable alternative to European and American woods.
The successful combination of materials makes the home feel cozy and inviting. Large sliding glass doors create a seamless connection between indoors and outdoors. In the garden, a cozy dining area offers space for family and friends, while a small pond provides a refreshing touch after a long day. The roof was also planted and equipped with solar panels. This environmentally friendly technology supplies part of the house's electricity from renewable energy.
Wooden house – native woods are also used inside

Native woods were also used inside the house. In fact, the furniture is made of mahogany, while the wall panels in the room are made of coconut wood. The decor is modern and stylish: natural materials and neutral colors make the rooms feel cozy and inviting. Modern artwork adorns the white walls and completes the interior.
